Cajuns Open Play Monday at Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team competes in its third event of the spring when it opens play on Monday at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate at the Reflection Bay Golf Club.

Action gets underway on Monday with an 18-hole fixed start beginning at 9:10 a.m. CT with 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Louisiana, which will be paired with co-host Arkansas State and Long Beach State in the opening round, will tee off on the par-72, 7,184-yard course beginning at 10 a.m. CT.

Also competing in the 15-team event is Central Arkansas, Kansas City, Kentucky, Little Rock, Michigan, Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Rocky Mountain College, South Florida, Stetson, UAB and Winthrop.

Freshman Malan Potgieter will lead Louisiana at the No. 1 slot with Matt Weber, Eli Ortego, Jake Marler and Burke Alford rounding out the five-man lineup. Dylan Keating will compete in his second event of the spring for Louisiana competing as an individual.
