Ragin’ Cajuns close road slate in contest between two of the Sun Belt’s Best
HARRISONBURG, Va. – For the final time this season the Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team hits the road on Saturday. It'll be a difficult road test for Louisiana who take on James Madison in a battle of two of the top four teams in the Sun Belt Conference standings. Tip-off from the Atlantic Union Bank Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
Louisiana (21-6, 11-4 SBC) snapped a two-game losing streak in emphatic fashion Thursday night against ULM. The Ragin' Cajuns never trailed in their 10th wire-to-wire victory of the season, beating the Warhawks 84-67. Themus Fulks led the way with a game-high 17 points, knocking down a career-high three three-pointers. Four players finished in double figures in the route, the team's 12th in a row in the Cajundome.
The Dukes (19-9, 10-5) have been tough to beat at home this season, accumulating at 9-2 record. They have played well lately, winning six of their last seven games to move into fourth place in the SBC.
