Julien Named SBC Player of the Week

He is the first Cajun to earn the award this season
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – After a huge week in Florida, Kobe Julien was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday. The junior also earned a spot on the Gulf Coast Showcase All-Tournament Team for his efforts.
Julien averaged 22.3 points per game over three games, including a career-high 30 against Buffalo. He opened the event with 23 points, four rebounds, three steals, and three blocks against Wright State. Against Buffalo he was 10-of-18 from the field and 8-for-11 from the free throw line in his 30-point performance. He was all over the court, grabbing seven rebounds and four steals in the win. In the event finale, he scored 14 points against Long Beach State, hitting four of the team's record-tying 18 three-pointers in the win.
For the week, Julien led the team in scoring (22.3), tied for second in rebounds (4.3), tied for the team lead in blocks (4), and led the team in steals (9).
