Julien Named to Gulf Coast Showcase All-Tournament Team

The junior averaged 22.3 points over three games
ESTERO, Florida – After a sensational performance over three days at the Gulf Coast Showcase, Kobe Julien was named to the All-Tournament Team. The junior led the team with 22.3 points per game and scored a career-high 30 on Tuesday against Buffalo.
Julien opened the tournament with 23 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks against Wright State. He followed that with a 30-point outburst, with seven rebounds and four steals, to get the team back in the win column against Buffalo. He closed the event by hitting four of the team's 18 threes against Long Beach State and finished with 14 points.
Over the three games, he led the team in scoring, tied for second in rebounds (4.3 per game), tied for a team-leading four blocks, and led the Cajuns with nine steals.
The Cajuns are back in the Cajundome next Monday to take on Loyola (N.O.) as they look to extend their 17-game home winning streak.
