Sanchez Gonzalez Picks Up Victory on Day Two at ITA All-American

TULSA, OK - Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez earned a hard-fought win on the second day of the ITA All-American in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The senior earned his first win in his return to action after an injury ended his spring 2023 season prematurely.
Sanchez Gonzalez knocked off Sam Bossem of Penn State in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5, for the win in the consolation bracket. Also in the consolation bracket, Oriol Fillat Gimenez fell to SMU's Maks Silagy 6-1, 6-1. Vasil Dimitrov fell to Martin Vergara del Puerto of Arizona State, 6-3, 6-3 to round out the day.
Tomorrow Sanchez Gonzalez will face Danijal Muminovic from UTSA as action continues from Tulsa.
