Brown, Dalcourt Lead Louisiana To Second Win In San Juan, 85-81

Ragin' Cajuns close out Summer Tour of Puerto Rico on Sunday at 11 a.m.
SAN JUAN, P.R. – Jordan Brown posted a double-double with a game-high 27 points and 11 rebounds while the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Men's Basketball team scored 50 points in the second half to rally to an 85-81 win over the LPB White All-Stars on Saturday at Coliseo Mario Quijote Morales.
Jalen Dalcourt came off the bench to add 13 points with Greg Williams, Jr., adding eight as Louisiana improved to 2-0 on its three-game summer tour of Puerto Rico. Michael Thomas, Vinny Sigona and Themus Fulks added seven points each as the Ragin' Cajuns outscored the LPB White, 50-40, in the final 20 minutes while forcing 27 turnovers.
Brown dominated in the paint for Louisiana finishing 10-for-18 from the floor. Louisiana finished 27-for-71 overall from the floor for the game and was 20-for-42 from inside the 3-point line. The Ragin' Cajuns were 15-for-33 in the second half while holding LPB White to 12-for-29 from the floor.
Louisiana trailed 41-35 at halftime before outscoring LPB White, 28-17, in the third period to take a 63-58 lead. The Ragin' Cajuns held a 44-40 advantage on the glass with Isaiah Richards bringing down eight boards and Joe Charles six.
Thomas and Charles each dished out four assists for Louisiana with Williams, Jr., collecting five of the Ragin' Cajuns 16 steals.
Luis Velez scored 21 points to lead LPB White with Luis Medina adding 20. Jon Alfonso had 13 points for the hosts with Jomar Rivera and D'Angelo Rodriguez each chipping in with 11.
Louisiana will close out its summer tour on Sunday when it faces the LPB Red All-Stars at 11 a.m. CT. The game will be streamed live on Facebook (LigaLBPOficial) and YouTube (LigadeBaloncestoPuertorrique).
