Women's Tennis Wraps Up Regular Season at Home

Ragin' Cajuns welcome Texas State, UT Arlington to Cajun Courts
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis wraps up the regular season at home this weekend when it hosts Texas State on Saturday, April 9, and UT Arlington on Sunday, April 10. Both matches will begin at 10 a.m.
The Ragin' Cajuns are looking to snap a four-game skid ahead of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, which will be played April 21-24 in Peachtree City, Georgia.
In the team's last outing, the Cajuns battled hard but dropped matches at App State (2-4) and Coastal Carolina (1-4).
Carla Urchoeguia and Momoko Yoshimura enter the weekend with a combined 16 singles wins. The pair also boasts the most doubles wins on the team with five this year.
Texas State enters the weekend with a 4-14 overall record and just one conference win, while UTA sits atop the league standings with an impressive 18-2 overall record and a 6-2 mark in league play.
Senior AK Harvey will be honored during the weekend for her contributions to the program.
