Louisiana Track and Field Continues Season at Crimson Tide Invitational

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Track and Field will continue its 2022 outdoor campaign this Friday and Saturday as it travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala. to compete in the Crimson Tide Invitational. The meet is available to be streamed live on SECN+.
 
Five Ragin' Cajuns topped the podium at last week's Strawberry Relays including a pair of first collegiate victories by freshmen Blair Lefluer and Kaiden Burgess in the men's and women's javelin.
 
The Ragin' Cajuns will travel 56 athletes to the second to last meet of the regular season before they host the Sun Belt Conference Championships beginning on May 12th at the Home Bank Track and Soccer Facility.
 
Senior Sophie Daigle returns to action after sitting out last week's relays. Daigle has bested two top program marks in the 10k (34:38.21) and 1500m (4:31.83).
