Men's Tennis Holding Steady Inside the Top 40 of ITA Team Rankings

Louisiana holds the No. 38 slot for the second straight week
LAFAYETTE – For the fourth consecutive week the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Men's Tennis team was ranked inside the Top 40 of the of the ITA Collegiate Tennis Division I Men's National Rankings.
Louisiana (14-1, 1-0 Sun Belt), winners of 14 straight matches since Jan. 28, was listed at No. 38 in the rankings released on Wednesday, March 16.
The Ragin' Cajuns maintained their position from the previous week's rakings after extending the current win streak with a 6-1 victory over UTRGV completed last Saturday at Cajun Courts.
Louisiana remains the highest ranked team among state schools and within the Sun Belt Conference (Georgia State, No. 75).
Back in the rankings for the first time since the 2020 season, it's the program's highest ranking since reaching No. 47 back in 2012.
UP NEXT FOR LOUISIANA
No. 38 Louisiana travels to the Dallas-Fort Worth area for a pair of matches the weekend of Friday-Sunday, March 18-20.
First up is a visit to UT Arlington on Friday (March 18) for a Sun Belt Conference match set to begin at 12:00 p.m. from the UTA Tennis Center.
Then on Sunday (March 20), the Ragin' Cajuns face a Top 40-challenge from No. 37 Oklahoma in a 1:00 p.m. match from TCU's Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center and Bartzen Varsity Courts.
