Louisiana Earns Second-Straight Sweep with 4-0 Win at McNeese

Ragin' Cajuns return to action on Wednesday at home against Lamar
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis completed a sweep of its weekend matches after taking down in-state foe McNeese by a final score of 4-0 in Lake Charles on Sunday morning.
On Saturday, the Ragin' Cajuns earned a decisive 7-0 victory over Southern.
The Cajuns set the tone early in doubles play after Carla Urchoeguia and Momoko Yoshimura won 6-3 on Court 1 and Catarina Zheng and Angel Santiago picked up a 6-4 win on Court 2 to go ahead 1-0.
Lucie Raquin continued her strong play, claiming a 6-1, 6-1, win over Carlotta Romito on Court 1 to extend the lead.
Zheng (6-2, 6-2) and Yoshimura (6-2, 6-1) went on to seal the victory for Louisiana.
The Ragin' Cajuns return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 16, when the team host Lamar. First serve at Cajun Courts is set for 2:30 p.m.
