Louisiana's Adrian Sanders Named to WBCA's Assistant Coaches Committee

One of 18 individuals across the country selected to serve
LAFAYETTE - Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Adrian Sanders has been selected to serve on the 2022-23 Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) Assistant Coaches Committee.
Sanders was one of 48 assistants, across all divisions of collegiate women's basketball, to be nominated for the prestigious appointment. She was one of only 18 who were selected to serve.
The WBCA Assistant Coaches Committee is one of five standing committees within the organization, considered necessary to governing the association. The Assistant Coaches Committee is composed of three representatives from each of the six (6) divisions of WBCA active membership who are elected by and from among the assistant coaches within the respective divisions.
Sanders is currently in her first season with Louisiana, joining Garry Brodhead's staff this past summer. She returned to the state of Louisiana where she has strong recruiting ties, developed in a previous stint at Southern University, after spending the 2021-22 season on staff at UC Santa Barbara.
