Baseball Cancels Game with Southern

LAFAYETTE - After playing the top half of the first inning on Tuesday night, Louisiana Baseball's game with Southern has been canceled due to weather in the area.

Lightning around the field caused the initial delay, which started around 6:20 p.m. with Ben Fitzgerald at the plate.

As of right now, Tuesday night's game will not be made up.

Louisiana will now shift its focus to an important weekend series at UTA starting on Friday.
