Where are you from and how did you first hear about the University of Louisiana?
I am from Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The first time that I heard about the University of Louisiana was when Coach Mark talked to me.
How many family members do you have, and how have they played a role in you getting to Louisiana?
I have 15 family members counting my cousins and aunts. Everyone has played an important role so that I can be here, supporting me whenever I have needed it.
What is the typical food from your region?
There are a lot of typical food, but the one I like the most is the ensaimada. It is a dessert made with flour, lard, oil and sugar.
What is your favorite thing to do away from the tennis courts?
I like to play bowling, go to the cinema and go to the beach.
What is the most difficult thing to adapt to while here in Louisiana?
I think that the most difficult is to talk in a language that it is not what you usually talk.
What is the outlook for you and the Men's Tennis Team this year?
I think we have a very good team and that if we all train well and support each other we can do great things.
What are some expectations for yourself this tennis season?
What I want this season is to do my best in every game to support the team. I think that if I give everything, the improvements will come and, as an athlete, you always want to improve.
