Bo Lamar Claims Ragin' Cajuns Madness Title

Ragin' Cajuns legend claims inaugural crown in fan voting
The top-seeded athlete in Ragin' Cajuns Madness, presented by Dwight Andrus Insurance, claimed the inaugural title as Dwight "Bo" Lamar claimed the overall vote by fans on RaginCajuns.com and Twitter (@RaginCajunsMBB).
Lamar garnered 71 percent of the vote in the poll to defeat No. 11-seeded Byron Starks in the finals of the 16-player field.
Lamar, the all-time leading scorer in Ragin' Cajuns history with 3,493 points, advanced to the finals after defeating fourth-seeded Elfrid Payton in the semifinals. Lamar received an overwhelming majority of votes on RaginCajuns.com and garnered 85 percent of the overall vote. The three-time All-American opened the 16-player event with a win over Graylin Warner before defeating teammate Roy Ebron in the Elite Eight.
