Louisiana Moves into ITA Top-70 Rankings

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Men's Tennis is off to an incredible 10-2 start this season and it is starting to pay dividends with the team finding itself in the most recent ITA top-75 rankings at No. 70.
The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off an impressive weekend, claiming wins against reigning Big Sky Champions Northern Arizona and reigning Southland Champions Texas A&M-CC.
"This team can push so much further and we are just getting started," head coach Mark Jeffrey said. "We really pushed 18th-ranked Florida State this year, so I feel we are a lot better than our current ranking."
Louisiana's Jan Galka is coming off a Sun Belt Tennis Athlete of the Week honor after claiming one singles win and two doubles wins this past weekend.
Men's Tennis will look to add a pair of wins to their resume this weekend against Boise State on Saturday and Utah State on Monday.
