Sun Belt Names Jan Galka Male Tennis Athlete of the Week

LAFAYETTE – Ragin' Cajun Men's Tennis player Jan Galka has been named the Sun Belt Male Tennis Athlete of the week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Galka was able to win all three of his doubles matches this past week coming against UTSA, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Northern Arizona. He paired with teammate Kacper Dworak in all three of his victories.
In singles, Galka defeated Corpus Christi's No. 1 singles player William Mottet in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.
He'll look to continue his efforts this weekend when Louisiana travels to face Boise State on Feb. 22 and Utah State Feb. 24.
