Women’s Tennis Ready For First Road Trip This Season

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana's Women's Tennis is traveling to Hammond, La. this Thursday for a match against Southeastern Louisiana. Due to bad weather, the match was originally scheduled for Jan. 26, but it was moved to Thursday, Feb. 13. The match is set to start at 4 p.m.
The Ragin' Cajuns are atop the Sun Belt Conference standings at 6-0 with all of their wins coming at home. The match against SLU is their first road match of the year.
Southeastern Louisiana comes in riding a four-match winning streak and is 4-1 this season.
The two teams are neck and neck with each other as the series is tied 5-5. However, the Ragin' Cajuns have been victorious in the last three matches. The most recent came on Feb. 8, 2019 when Louisiana beat the Lions by a score of 4-2.
Louisiana Women's Tennis has been almost unbeatable this year as they are 25-2 in singles and 9-1 in doubles. They look to continue strong play Thursday against SLU.
