Louisiana Takes Two from Prairie View A&M, Improves to 3-0

Match One
Louisiana opened the match in typical format starting with doubles action. Floriane Picaut and Lucie Raquin battled with Victoria Castillo and Mahojani Green to win 6-4. In her first match back from injury, Marina Rodriguez-Garcia sealed the doubles point on a beautiful forehand which gave her and Mariona Perez Noguera the 6-4 victory.
Louisiana had some tremendous performances in the singles in match one after Clara Mantaux was the first to exit the court after beating Salma Villalobos, 6-3, 6-0, to claim her first victory of the season. Picaut, Angel Santiago, Raquin and Perez-Noguera all picked up victories in straight sets for the second straight day.
Dana Radovanovic played in what could be one of the longest matches this season, but lost 6-4, 5-7, 16-18.
Match Two
Louisiana took care of business in the second match of the day. The pair of Radovanoic and Mantaux were the first to exit the court and won 6-2. Perez-Noguera and Picaut claimed the clinching victory and beat Castillo and Green by the similar score of 6-2.
Rodriguez-Garcia added to her big day, defeating Villalobos, 6-3, 6-0, while Raquin and Picaut were the other two Ragin' Cajuns that helped pick up the second win of the day.
