Men’s Tennis Adds Alejandro Gonzalez to the 2020 Signing

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Men's Tennis team has added Alejandro Gonzalez to the 2020 signing class, head coach Mark Jeffrey announced on Friday morning.
Gonzalez, who is hails from Mallorca, Spain, is the second signee for the program in the class. Gonzalez is an accomplished tennis player who was a doubles finalist for the G4 Luxembourg and G5 Edinburh, a semifinalist in G4 Istambul and G4 Casa Blanca and a finalist in the IBP Master Series in Madrid. He also claimed the Absolute Balearic Champion crown.
"Alejandro is a very smart player with a lot of growth ahead of him," Jeffrey said. "He's a very humble guy that has had to fight for where he is today which I appreciate as a coach. He is a very well coach and well supported by his family in Mallorca. We will fight hard for Alejandro in helping him achieve his goals of being a world class tennis player with his degree."
