MONROE, La. – With only two matches left in the 2019 regular season, Louisiana Women's Tennis (6-12, 1-6 SBC), will head north for a midweek Sun Belt Conference matchup at ULM (9-4, 4-3 SBC), with the match start time set for 2 p.m.
FRENCH CONNECTION: Louisiana's doubles duo of junior Clara Mantaux and sophomore Dana Radovanovic, enter the weekend riding a three-match winning streak. The two have paired up to go 5-2, a team-best, all at No. 1 doubles and they are tied for third in the conference in terms of winning percentage playing No. 1 doubles.
FLO GOES WITH THE FLOW: Sophomore Floriane Picaut, who has settled in at No. 1 singles, is leading the charge for Louisiana, and she is the team leader in wins, sitting at 10-7. She is 8-6 at No. 1 singles, and those wins ranks her fourth in the conference in total wins at No. 1.
WHAT THE WARHAWKS BRING: ULM enters the match sitting fifth in the conference, holding a 4-3 record in Sun Belt play. But over the past four matches, ULM has struggled, having lost three out of the last four matches, including the previous two by a combined score of 8-1.
Since 2003, ULM holds a 10-3 record against Louisiana, and the Warhawks have won the previous nine match ups between the two programs. Louisiana last won against ULM in 2009 and the Ragin' Cajuns last got a win in Monroe, La., in 2008.Â
