@RaginCajunsWT Heads To Arkansas State For Final Match Of 2019

JONESBORO, Ark. – Louisiana Women's Tennis (6-13, 1-7 SBC) wraps up its 2019 season with a visit to the Arkansas State Red Wolves (4-12, 1-8 SBC) in a Sunday morning Sun Belt Conference matchup, with first serve set for 8 a.m.
FRENCH CONNECTION: Louisiana's doubles duo of junior Clara Mantaux and sophomore Dana Radovanovic, enter the weekend riding a three-match winning streak. The two have paired up to go 5-2, a team-best, all at No. 1 doubles and they sit second in the conference in terms of winning percentage playing No. 1 doubles.Â
FLO GOES WITH THE FLOW: Sophomore Floriane Picaut, who has settled in at No. 1 singles, is leading the charge for Louisiana, and she is the team leader in wins, sitting at 10-8. She is 8-7 at No. 1 singles, and those wins ranks her fifth in the conference in total wins at No. 1.
WHAT THE RED WOLVES BRING: Arkansas State picked up its first conference win of the season in its last match, a 4-1 win over ULM on Saturday, April 13. Before that win, Arkansas State had lost its previous 10 matches, going back to March 8, when the streak began with a 4-0 loss at Lipscomb.
Going back to 2003, Louisiana holds an 11-5 advantage over the Red Wolves. Although Arkansas State won the previous matchup, in 2018, Louisiana did win the last meeting between the two programs in Jonesboro, Arkansas with a 4-0 win in 2017.Â
