LAFAYETTE – After spending the previous weekend on the road in Texas, Louisiana Women's Tennis (6-9, 1-3 SBC) returns to Cajun Courts for its final home weekend series of the season when the Carolina schools, starting with Appalachian State (10-4, 4-0 SBC) on Saturday, March 30, and Coastal Carolina (9-7, 2-2 SBC), on Sunday, March 31, comes to town.

Louisiana's first match of the weekend against Appalachian State will have its first serve at 10 a.m. and Coastal Carolina's match will have the same start of 10 a.m.

NOT AN EASY TRIP: Louisiana spent the weekend of Mar. 23-24 on the road in Texas visiting Texas State and UT Arlington.  The Ragin' Cajuns dropped the both matches, losing to Texas State, 4-0, and UT Arlington, 4-1.

FLO SITS NEAR THE TOP: Louisiana's primary No. 1 singles player, sophomore Floriane Picaut, has gone 7-5 at No. 1 and that number of wins places her tied for third in the Sun Belt Conference in terms of wins at No. 1 singles.  Overall Picaut has gone 9-6 in singles and is 12-13 combined on the season.

WHAT THE MOUNTAINEERS BRING: Louisiana and Appalachian State will meet for the first time on Saturday, with neither team having not seen each other on the courts during each program's history.  Entering the match, Appalachian State is on a four-match winning streak, having won its first four conference games, most recently taking down Troy (4-1) on March 24.

WHAT THE CHANTICLEERS BRING: Coastal Carolina will begin the weekend in Monroe, La., taking on the ULM Warhawks on Saturday, March 30, before heading south to Lafayette, La.  Over the past six matches, Coastal Carolina has won five of them, having lost its most recent match against South Alabama (4-1) on March 24.

This will be the second meeting all-time between Louisiana and Coastal Carolina, with the Chanticleers taking the previous match, 6-1, at Charleston, S.C., on April 10, 2012.
