@RaginCajunsWT Heads Into Final Day Of Ragin' Cajuns Invite

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis picked up 12 wins across six different singles draws, giving the Ragin' Cajuns five members in position to win championships in three different draws after the first day of the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational at Cajun Courts on Saturday, Sept. 29.
WINS ALL OVER THE PLACE: Louisiana junior Clara Mantaux collected two straight set wins, 6-1, 6-1; 6-2, 6-4 and sophomore Dana Radovanovic collected two wins of her own, 7-5, 7-6(3); 6-1 to reach the finals of the No. 3 singles draw for an all Louisiana championship.
In the No. 4 singles draw freshman Hoda Habib fought her way to the championship match, winning in straight sets in both of her matches, 6-1, 6-0; 6-2, 6-2, to set up a matchup with Northwestern State's Antonia Blattner.
While in the No. 5 singles draw another all-Louisiana matchup was set up by freshman Ai Noa Fabre's two wins, 6-4, 3-6, 10-2; 6-3, 6-2 and junior Milena Achlamov snagging two herself, 6-2, 3-6, 10-5; 6-3, 7-5. Sophomore Morgan Forshag grabbed a win in the No. 4 singles draw, 6-7(4), 7-6(5), 10-5 and freshman Natalia Nassar won in straight sets in the first round of the No. 6 singles draw, 6-3, 6-0, to add to Louisiana's win total on the day.
DOUBLES ARE STRONG: In doubles Louisiana went 4-0, getting wins from the duo of Garcia and Radovanovic, 6-4 in the No. 1 doubles draw and sophomore Floriane Picaut and Fabre, 6-4 in No. 2 doubles. Louisiana tacked another win on in the No. 3 doubles with a win from Forshag and freshman AK Harvey 6-2. Mantaux and Habib had a bye to move into the second round of No. 3 doubles.
