LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis and head coach Stephanie Vallejos announced on Thursday, Sept. 27, the draws for the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational with Louisiana having all 10 members of the 2018-19 squad taking the courts over the two-day tournament that starts on Friday, Sept. 28 at Cajun Courts.
SEVEN SCHOOLS MAKE THE TRIP: Louisiana will be hosting schools from in-state and near-by Texas making up seven schools, along with the Ragin' Cajuns, who will be taking part in the tournament. Incarnate Word, Stephen F. Austin and Lamar make the trip across the Texas border into Louisiana, joining McNeese State, Northwestern State, Louisiana Tech and ULM for a busy weekend of tennis at Cajun Courts.
Action starts on Friday with doubles at 8 a.m., followed by singles playing through until the final matchups are set. Saturday will see two rounds of doubles, deciding a champion in that portion of the tournament, before wrapping up the singles tournament. The entire weekend is free to attend for all fans.
 CAJUNS ALL IN: In singles Louisiana will have all of their student-athletes taking part across six draws, led by sophomore Floriane Picaut taking part in the number one draw. Sophomore Marina Rodriguez Garcia will represent Louisiana in the number two draw, while in the third draw Louisiana sophomore Dana Radovanovic and junior Clara Mantaux will play for Louisiana.
Sophomore Morgan Forshag and freshman Hoda Habib will play through the number four draw and in the number five draw junior Milena Achlamov and freshman Ai Noa Fabre will work their way through the competition for the Cajuns. In the final and sixth draw, Louisiana freshmen AK Harvey and Natalia Nassar will represent the Cajuns.
In doubles Louisiana has four pairs taking part in three draws. Garcia and Radovanovic will led Louisiana in the top draw as in the second draw Picaut and Fabre will pair up for the Cajuns. Louisiana will send two pairs into the third draw with Mantaux and Habib playing as a duo along with Forshag and Harvey to round our Louisiana's doubles pairings.
