Lago becomes the third straight member of the Cajuns to get SBC postseason honors in singles.

NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team sophomore Elio Lago was named to the 2018 All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team in singles, as the conference announced their All-SBC Teams today.

LAGO LIGHTS UP 2018: Lago was on a tear all season long, ripping off a team high 13-match winning streak and he finished the season winning 14 out of 15 matches.  During the spring Lago went 17-7, tied for the team high in wins, and when factoring in the fall he finished 24-9 overall.

KEEPING THE STREAK ALIVE: It's the third straight season that a Cajuns player has been named be named either first or second team All-SBC in singles.  Lago joins junior Arthur Libaud (2017-16) and Edgar Lopez (2016) in gaining the honor.
