Cajuns, Eagles meet in ESPN3 broadcast.
STATESBORO, Ga. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team continues its three-game road trip on Thursday when it faces Sun Belt Conference rival Georgia State in a battle between the league's top two teams at GSU Sports Arena.
Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. CT and will follow the Louisiana-Georgia Southern women's game set for 1 p.m. CT. The game can be heard in the Lafayette area on KHXT-FM (107.9) with a live broadcast available on ESPN3.
Louisiana (20-4, 10-1 SBC) had its 10-game overall win streak snapped in a 106-92 loss at Georgia State on Thursday. The loss was the Ragin' Cajuns first in 17 Sun Belt Conference regular-season games dating back to last season and their first SBC road loss since a 74-70 setback at Georgia Southern (16-9, 7-5 SBC) on Feb. 6, 2017.
Georgia Southern dropped its second straight game after falling to ULM in overtime on Thursday, 66-64. The Eagles claimed both meetings in last season's series, winning both games by a combined nine points.
