Ragin' Cajuns Land at No. 24 in This Week's Mid-Major Poll

Mid-Major Top 25 Rankings
LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team (16-4, 9-2 SBC) fell two spots to No. 24 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll, released on Tuesday.
Louisiana won a pair of conference contests last week against UT Arlington and ULM at the Cajundome. The Cajuns garnered 56 points in this week's poll and are one of two Sun Belt Conference schools (Arkansas State - No. 9) in this week's rankings.
The Cajuns will go for their third straight win when they play at Appalachian State this Thursday, Feb. 4 at 5 p.m.

The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast and Western Athletic.
