Men's Basketball Awards Banquet Slated For April 9

The Sun Belt Conference champions will be honored at City Club River Ranch

LAFAYETTE – Head coach Bob Marlin and his coaching staff will honor the 2013-14 Sun Belt Conference champion Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns basketball team when it holds its annual Men's Basketball Awards Banquet on April 9 at City Club River Ranch.
Doors will open at 6 p.m., with dinner scheduled for 6:30.
Tickets are available for $325 for a table for six, and will include two seats for members of the Ragin' Cajuns squad, or individually for $40. Fans can download a ticket form on the men's basketball page at www.RaginCajuns.com.
The Ragin' Cajuns finished the 2013-14 season with a 23-12 record, that was culminated by an appearance in the NCAA Men's Basketball Championships. Louisiana won 11 of its final 13 games down the stretch, finished 13-2 overall in games played in the Cajundome (its most wins at home 1990-91), and posted its first 20-win season since 2002-03.
The Cajuns also excelled the classroom, despite a demanding schedule, recording the two highest team grade point averages during the past two semesters.
