FOR STARTERS
The Ragin' Cajuns put an end to a four-match losing streak on Monday with a 3-1 win over Abilene Christian and now get their shot at home against a pair of the top teams in Sun Belt play this week when they host Texas State and Arkansas State at Earl K. Long Gym. The Halloween night meeting with Texas State will be UL's second match against the Bobcats, who took a 3-0 win over the Cajuns on Oct. 4 in San Marcos .

Louisiana will see the Red Wolves for the first of two times within a span of five matches as A-State is the final team on the UL slate the Cajuns have not faced off with this season. The Ragin' Cajuns will return the match with a trip to Jonesboro on Nov. 21.

The Ragin' Cajuns begin the final third of their conference slate on Halloween night, closing out the month of October at home against Texas State before kicking off November against Arkansas State on Nov. 2.

- Head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot picked up her 99th win at Louisiana on on Oct. 27 against Abilene Christian, leaving her one victory shy of 100 as a Ragin' Cajun. Only two other UL head coaches have more wins - Wilo Colon (132) and Sherry LeBas (111).

- Chanelle Gardner set a career high with a .483 attack percentage in Friday's loss at Georgia State. The sophomore also tied a career high with 17 kills, doing so on 29 attacks with just three attack errors.

- Senior Caitlyn Auxilien's 3.83 digs per set ranks in the top 10 in the Sun Belt Conference this year. She recently moved past Gina Calegari into fourth all-time at Louisiana in digs. Now with 1,650 for her career, she has become only the fourth player in program history to reach the 1,500-dig mark. She recently passed up Erika Castro for third all-time at UL in career digs and trails Lindsay Brown by 203 for second place.

- Andrea Hole ranks fourth in the SBC with 10.32 assists per set. She surpassed the 2,000-assist mark for her career at Texas State and her 2,360 assists currently ranks third all-time at UL in the rally era at Louisiana. Additionally, Hole needs just 14 more digs to reach the 1,000-dig mark for her career.

- Sara Mossakowski has at least 11 kills in five of UL's last six matches, leading the Cajuns in each match and averaging 3.20 kills per set in that time. She has reached double figures in nine of her last 11 matches and is on pace to set a new career high for kills and kills per set in a season.

- Since 2010, the Cajuns have turned Earl K. Long Gym into one of the toughest places in the Sun Belt Conference to come visit. Louisiana is 9-2 this season in home matches, upping its home record to 43-16 (.728) since the start of the 2010 season. Additionally, they have been even tougher in non-conference play, increasing its record in home non-conference matches to 21-1 since 2010 with its win over Abilene Christian on Monday.
