Softball Locked in at No. 6 in Both National Polls

LAFAYETTE, La. – In the final national rankings before postseason starts the Ragin' Cajuns softball team found themselves in the No. 6 position in both the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 and the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Polls.
 
Louisiana (46-3, 21-3) comes in at No. 13 in the final Rating's Percentage Index (RPI) after a series win over ULM in the final matchup of the regular season.

The Cajuns clinched their 11th Sun Belt Regular Season Championship in the league's 12-year history and will be the No. 1 overall seed in this week's SBC Tournament.
