Cajuns To Tee Off at SBC Golf Championship

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – The Ragin' Cajuns golf team is set to tee off in the first round of the 2012 Sun Belt Golf Championship on Monday at The Shoals Golf Course in Muscle Shoals, Ala.

“The course here at The Shoals is in great condition,” head coach Theo Sliman said. “The guys will be challenged by the weather conditions. We have a long way to go before this 54-hole tournament is over so patience and determination will be important if we want to do well. I have a lot of confidence that the guys will come out and set the tone for the tournament early.”

The Cajuns tee of at 8 a.m. and are paired with Middle Tennessee and Arkansas State. The forecast is calling for temperatures to be in the in the 40s and 50s with wind gusts of 25 mph.
