Staying Perfect: The Ragin' Cajuns moved to 28-0 after overcoming a seven-run deficit in game one against Georgia Tech on Thursday. UL won both games of the double header, 12-11 and, 10-2.
 
Nation's Longest Home Streak: Louisiana owns the NCAA's longest home winning streak having won 33 in a row at Lamson Park after the sweep of Georgia Tech.
 
Cajuns Crack Top 10: The squad stands in at No. 8 in both national polls this week. The Cajuns along with No. 13/14 Louisville (24-0) remain as the only two teams in the nation with an unblemished record.
 
SBC Success: Louisiana is 3-0 in conference play for the first time since 2005. UL has been the regular season league champion in 10 of the past 11 seasons and co-head coach Stefni Lotief has a 189-35 (.844) record in Sun Belt action.
 
Series History: The Ragin' Cajuns own a 19-3 edge over Troy and have won the last five meetings between the two schools.
 
Orgeron Becomes All-Time RBI Leader: Christi Orgeron drove in five runs in game two against Georgia Tech giving her 249 career RBI, passing Danyele Gomez as the school's all-time leader.
 
Myers Garners National Award: Nerissa Myers was recognized by the NFCA as the Louisville Slugger Division I National Player of the Week for games played March 12-18. The junior hit .500, while tallying a team-leading 10 RBI and two homeruns.
 
Cajuns Grab SBC Honors: Louisiana swept the Sun Belt weekly awards as Jordan Wallace was named pitcher of the week and Myers was tabbed as the hitter of the week.
 
Add to the Grand Slam Total: Orgeron blasted her third grand slam of the season in the game two victory over Georgia Tech, Thursday. The squad has combined to hit eight slams this year.
 
Countdown to 800: Ashley Brignac ranks fourth in UL history with 761 career punch outs. The senior needs to record 52 more strikeouts to move into third all-time in school history.
 
Cajuns Pace Country in RBI's: Louisiana is the only team in the country to have multiple teammates in the top 15 on the NCAA's RBI list. Orgeron tops the nation with 55 RBI, while Matte Haack (37) and Nerissa Myers (34) join her among the elite run producers.
 
NCAA's Top Offense: The Cajuns led the nation in scoring last year and are well on their way to repeating the accomplishment this year. UL tops the country with 268 runs averaging 9.6 a game.
 
Beat the Streak: Natalie Fernandez leads the team with a .453 batting average and is riding a ten game hitting streak. The sophomore is hitting a torrid 18-for-29 (.621) during the streak and needs to hit safely in 16 more games to surpass the Cajun's record of 25 set by Kelli Bruce in 1999.
 
Scouting Troy: The Trojans are 19-7 on the year and are coming off a 7-1 victory in their previous game against No. 21 Auburn. Troy features four players with batting averages over .300, including Sarah Shields, who leads the squad at .343. Ashley Rainey paces the Trojans with 18 RBI and is 9-3 as a pitcher with a 2.07 ERA.
