LAFAYETTE – The Ragin' Cajuns baseball team has scheduled a makeup date for one of the two games that was postponed by weather this week, announcing on Thursday that the Northwestern State contest has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Brown-Stroud Field in Natchitoches.
The makeup game with the Demons will mark the first of back-to-back games between the two squads that week. UL and NSU will play at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field the next day in a regularly scheduled contest on Wednesday, April 18.
The Cajuns coaching staff is still working toward rescheduling the Tulane contest that was postponed on Tuesday.
UL is back in action at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field this weekend, hosting Arkansas State Friday-Sunday, March 23-25 in the Sun Belt home opening series. The series starts Friday at 6 p.m., with UL's Jordan Nicholson opposing ASU's Jacob Lee on the mound.
