Louisiana Faces Memphis In Fall Exhibition

Ragin' Cajuns, Tigers set to meet in pair of seven-inning games at Biloxi's Keesler Federal Park
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Baseball team closes out its fall exhibition schedule on Saturday when it faces American Conference member Memphis at Biloxi's Keesler Federal Park as part of the Hancock Whitney Classic.

First pitch is set for 12 p.m., with the teams playing a pair of seven-inning games. Tickets are available by clicking here. The first 750 fans will also receive a commemorative rally towel for the match-up, courtesy of the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers.

Louisiana plays its second fall exhibition of the season after hosting Rice at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park on October 11. Newcomers Steven Spalitta and Rigoberto Hernandez, along with returning letterwinner Owen Galt each homered for the Ragin' Cajuns in the 14-inning contest against the Owls.

The Ragin' Cajuns will officially open their 2026 season at home on February 13 in a three-game series against Missouri State. Â

Memphis, under third-year coach Matt Riser, finished 22-33 last season and will play three exhibition contests over a span of eight days.
