Day One Results

The Magnolia Grove Crossing Golf Course proved to a be a tough test for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns golf team on day one as the Cajuns sit in tenth place at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate in Mobile. Ala.
 
The Cajuns posted a score of 588 (+12) through the first 36 holes with only two players finishing the day in the top 30.
 
UL finds itself only 10 strokes from fifth place as Middle Tennessee leads the tournament with a score of 570 (-6).
 
Philipp Fendt led UL on the day shooting 74-70 to finish at even-par in a tie for 11th place.
 
The only other Cajun in the top-30 is Brandt Garon. Garon sits three stokes behind Fendt at 147 (+3).
 
Andrew Noto and Chris Weninger rounded out UL's scoring on the day with Noto posting two-round total of 149 and Weninger carding a score of 152.
 
The Cajuns will look to make their move tomorrow morning, teeing off at 8:00 a.m.
