Women’s Tennis Sweeps UAB

The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team picked up its first win of the spring season with a 7-0 sweep of UAB Sunday afternoon at the Samford Tennis Complex in Birmingham, Ala.

“This was a total team effort today as we continue to improve,” head coach Greg Harkins said. “We had some clutch play today winning several tie-breakers to pick up our first win of the season.”

Louisiana swept both doubles and singles play dropping only two sets on the afternoon while winning five tie-breakers.

The Cajuns return to action on Feb. 4 with a road match at Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss.
