>>>Louisiana and Florida International are going head-to-head for the 21st time in the history of the two programs. The Cajuns are looking to snap a four game losing streak in the series and head coach Errol Rogers is seeking his first victory against the Panthers.
>>>UL fell in their last showing against South Alabama on Wednesday night 72-68. Louisiana showed positive signs as they shot over 40 percent from the field for the second consecutive game and had their best effort on the glass in conference play pulling down 39 rebounds.
>>>Krystal Motley nearly carried the Cajuns on her back to a victory in the narrow loss to USA. The senior scored a career-high 36 points on 16-of-28 shooting from the floor. Motley scored 21 of the 36 in the second half and garnered a career-best six rebounds.
>>>Freshman Megan Whittaker posted a new personal-best on Wednesday as well. The Georgia native went 4-for-6 scoring 13 points. Whittaker nailed two threes giving her 14 on the season, which leads the Cajuns.
>>>Josie West had five points and corralled seven rebounds, while swatting away two shots against South Alabama. The junior is averaging 5.3 points and six rebounds during conference play.
>>>The Ragin' Cajuns forced The Lady Jaguars into 19 turnovers on Wednesday and won the turnover battle for the third time in the last four games.
>>>Louisiana shot 50 percent from beyond the arc last game converting on 7-of-14 from deep. It was the second highest shooting percentage from three this season.

>>>The Cajuns won the turnover battle for the third time in the past four games. UL forced South Alabama into 19 turnovers and are averaging 18.8 forced turnovers a game.
>>>Louisiana recorded 39 rebounds on Wednesday, marking the most rebounds the Ragin' Cajuns have tallied in the last five games.
>>>UL scored 68 points and shot 41.5 percent from the field for the second straight game against the Lady Jaguars. The 68 points is the third most the Cajuns have scored this season.
>>>Michelle Brunker did not play against South Alabama, snapping her streak of 15 consecutive starts. Brunker was the lone Cajun in the starting lineup every game of the season up until Wednesday.
 
MOTLEY CONTINUES TORRID PLAY
>>>Krystal Motley has made the most of her senior campaign this year. Motley set a new career-high with 36 points against South Alabama on Wednesday. It was the most points scored by a Cajun since Mercedes Johnson dropped 36 last season against Troy (1/5/11).
>>>The Houston, Texas native set a career-best in field goals made and attempted, converting on 16-of-28 from the floor. Motley also pulled down a personal-best six rebounds in the effort as well.
>>>The senior is averaging 14.7 points per contest on the year. She is averaging 20.3 points in conference play, ranking her second among SBC players.
 
HOT FROM DOWNTOWN
>>>Louisiana shot 50 percent from beyond the arc making 7-of-14 shots. The seven made threes and 50 percent shooting were the second highest totals for the Cajuns on the year.
>>>Freshman Megan Whittaker drained two treys against the Lady Jaguars giving her 14 on the season. The Cajuns are second in conference play in three-pointers made per game with six.

>>>Louisiana is playing without seniors Kemi Rotibi (injury) and Mercedes Johnson (personal reasons) who are out for the remainder of the season
>>>The duo was averaging a combined 18.2 points and 13.3 rebounds per contest on the season.
