UL Baseball on CST Wednesday Evening

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball team, closing out a stretch of 10 out of their last 11 games on the road, will appear on CST on Wednesday, April 20 in a midweek game with Southern University at Lee-Hines Field in Baton Rouge.

First pitch is set for 6 p.m. The broadcast is part of CST's television contract with Southern University. CST can be viewed on Cox cable channel 37 in the Lafayette area.

Louisiana (20-17) and Southern (21-14) meet for the second time this season. The Ragin' Cajuns posted a 10-4 win on March 1 at "The Tigue".

In the March 1 meeting, Louisiana jumped out to a five run lead in the first and second innings. Greg Fontenot was 4-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI. Jordan Nicholson claimed the win, holding the Jaguars to an earned run on four hits in four innings pitched.

The Ragin' Cajuns are making just their second trip to Lee-Hines Field since April 2002.
