Cajuns Get Bit By Rattlers, 4-2

Yanick Mandl had a successful day, helping Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team pick up two points, but it was not enough as Florida A&M posted a 4-2 win over the Cajuns on Sunday.

Mandl teamed up with Brandon Fairne in no. 1 doubles, winning their match 8-4. Carlin Murray and Carl Alberton clinched the doubles point for UL, winning their set by the same tally, 8-4.

In singles action, Mandl won the sole point for UL, going 6-3 6-3 from the no. 3 spot.

The loss was the sixth straight for the Cajuns (0-6). The Rattlers improved to 4-3 with the win.

UL will now hit the road for the next three matches, playing at Nicholls State on Thursday, March 3 before heading to San Francisco, Calif. to take on the University of San Francisco and Saint Mary's (CA) on March 7-8.
