Despite Rain, Cajuns Capture First Win

The Cajuns (1-6) fell behind early after dropping the doubles point to the Colonels (6-5). Yanick Mandl and Brandon Farine won the first doubles match, 8-4, before Nicholls State won the next two matches.
Carlin Murray evened up the score after winning the no.1 singles, 6-4,2-6,6-4 and Mandl put the Cajuns ahead with a 6-0, 6-1 win in the no.2 spot.
The Colonels drew, 2-2, by winning the no.3 singles.But UL swept the final three singles matches to capture the first win of the season.
Robert Voss needed three sets to secure a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win in the no.4 spot, while Oscar Pachon and Carl Alberton won the final two points in straight sets.
