>>> The Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team hosts Interstate 10 rival McNeese State on Thusday at the Cajundome. It's the 86th installment of the series that dates back to December 1951.
>>> For the 14th consecutive season Louisiana and McNeese State meet on the basketball court, continuing the series which resumed in the 1998-99 season after being dormant for the previous six seasons. Louisiana owns an 8-5 edge in the current chapter of the series.
>>> The Cajuns and Cowboys meet at the Cajundome for the 11th time. Louisiana is 9-1 in the arena vs. McNeese.

>>> It's the second straight week he averaged double figures. The Nassau, Bahamas, native averaged 13.7 points during the Beryl Shipley Classic.
>>> Coleby is the Cajuns current leading scorer averaging 11.5 points per game.

>>> Kadeem Coleby has scored double figures in five straight games.
>>> During the streak he's averaging 14.2 points per game.

BROWN RETURNS TO THE COURT

McCLELLAN STEPS UP IN STARTER'S ROLE
>>> Darshawn McClellan, was inserted into the starting lineup at Kent State in place of J.J. Thomas who missed the game with a knee injury.
>>> McClellan responded well in his first start in a Cajuns uniform, registering a season-high 17 points. He also added three 3-point field goals, five assists and seven rebounds in 33 minutes of action.
 
A SPECIAL WEAPON
>>> The Cajuns bench has outscored the opponents bench in all but one game this season. Kent State became the first opponent to outscore the Cajuns doing so 29-19 on Monday.
>>> A big part in why Kent State was able to outscore the Cajuns bench was UL's top leading scorer off the bench, Darshawn McClellan, started in place of J.J. Thomas.
