Perfection: Louisiana already has two perfect 4-0 weeks in the second half of the season. By virtue of Tuesday's win over McNeese State the Cajuns have the opportunity to make it three consecutive 4-0 weeks. UL enters the Le Moyne series with a 9-0 record in the second half.
Streak Watch: The Cajuns put several win streaks on the line this weekend vs. Le Moyne. UL has won nine straight overall and six straight at "The Tigue". Louisiana has also won four straight non-conference games dating back to March 30 vs. NW State.
The Home Stretch: Last Sunday's game at UALR marked the final game outside the State of Louisiana for the 2010 season. The final 20 regular season games will be played in-state and the next out-of-state trip won't come until the Sun Belt Tournament in Murfreesboro, Tenn. (May 26-29).
Le Moyne Series (UL leads 2-1): The Ragin' Cajuns and Dolphins have met only once before, taking in a three-game series March 18-20, 2005 at "The Tigue". Louisiana took two-of-three that weekend, winning the opener and finale.
Quick Reset: Louisiana continued its recent recipe for success in midweek games of building an early lead and getting solid relief pitching and the result was a 5-2 win over McNeese State Tuesday evening. The Cajuns jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings then saw six relievers limit the Cowboys to four hits over the final six innings.
Time for a Breather: This weekend represents the Ragin' Cajuns' bye week in Sun Belt play. SBC play resumes next weekend at "The Tigue" vs. Middle Tennessee. UL went 10-8 in its first portion of the league schedule.
Inching Closer: UL is only six wins shy of assuring a winning record. In a 55-game schedule, 29 wins would be enough if the team would go 0-2 in the SBC Tournament.
Welcome Home Ragin' Cajuns: Louisiana is celebrating Alumni Weekend during the Le Moyne series. The highlight of the weekend will come Saturday when the 2000 College World Series team is honored in a pregame ceremony.
Season Ticket Redemption: Sunday's game vs. Le Moyne is the second of two annual "Season Ticket Redemption" games. Unused tickets from games 1-26 can be redeemed for extra ones. First pitch on Sunday is 11 a.m.
