Men Fall to No. 18 Texas Tech at HEB

The Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team fell to No. 18 Texas Tech in the early game of the 46th Annual HEB Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Friday morning.
The Cajuns (2-8) fell 4-0 to the Red Raiders (10-1) as the match was stopped after the clinching point. The Cajuns lost all three doubles matches, putting them down 1-0 to start singles.
The Cajuns lost at the No.2 spot with Javier Pulgar falling to Gonzalo Escobar 6-4, 6-3. At the No. 5 spot, Vitor Manzini defeated Neil Schneider 6-4, 6-2. At the No. 6 Raphael Pfister knocked off Robert Voss 6-1, 6-2.
The Cajuns will play the losers of Western Michigan and South Alabama this afternoon.
