Historic Night at "The Tigue" Friday

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball program will celebrate an historical moment in M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field history on Friday, March 26 in a game with Florida Atlantic.

The game will represent game No. 1,000 at "The Tigue" which opened for play in the 1978 season.

Several promotions are being planned for the momentous occasion:

Giveaway by presenting sponsor Coca-Cola Bottling
A giant sheet cake celebrating Game No. 1,000 at "The Tigue"
1978 concession stand prices
Top Hits from 1978 played between innings
University Bookstore will be selling special edition 1,000 game commemorative t-shirts at the game. Supplies are limited.

Members of the M.L. "Tigue" Moore family will be honored pregame with a representative of the family throwing out the game's first pitch.
