Men pick up first win of season

The Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team picked up its first win of the season on Saturday as they knocked off the Florida A&M Rattlers at Cajun Courts, 6-1.
The Cajuns (1-4) won the doubles point and five of the six singles point. Javier Pulgar defeated David Jackson 6-2, 7-6, 1-0 (10-6), while Tomasz Krzyszkowski defeated Takura Happy 6-2, 6-2.
Carlin Murray beat Marc Atkinson 6-0, 6-0. Yanick Mandl beat Michael Moore 6-1, 6-3. Neil Schneider knocked off Maurice Wamukowa 6-2, 6-4.
In doubles play it was Mandl and Krzyszkowski losing to Jackson and Moore 8-5. But Pulgar an dSchneider beat Wamukowa and Fabrice Mytril 8-4. Murray and Robert Voss took out Happy and Temeura Asafu-Adajage 8-5.
The Cajuns return to action on Thursday as they play host to TexasA&M-Corpus Christi at 6 p.m. at Cajun Courts.
