Friday's Opener at No. 6 Nebraska Cancelled

LINCOLN, Neb. - Friday's non-conference series opener between the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and the No. 6 Nebraska Cornhuskers has been cancelled because of chilly temperatures and impending wintry conditions later this evening in the greater Lincoln metropolitan area.
Louisiana (22-23) and the sixth-ranked Huskers (34-8-1) will play their regularly scheduled day-night doubleheader Saturday at Hawks Field. Senior Hunter Moody (Clinton, La.) will take the hill for the Cajuns in game one at 12:05 p.m. (CT), while freshman Michael Cook (Lafayette, La.) will get the nod in game two at 6:35 p.m. (CT).
The series was forced to move Sunday's game to a Saturday day-night doubleheader because it conflicted with Nebraska's final exams schedule.
Fans can listen to the game live on Sports Radio ESPN 1420 AM with Jay Walker beginning at 11:35 a.m. for game one. The Ragin' Cajuns baseball pregame show for game two will begin at 6:05 p.m. Live stats as well as live streaming video will be available online at RaginCajuns.com
