In singles play, the Cajuns picked up wins at Nos. 2, 5 and 6. Sophomore Piotrek Banas played a tough three sets against Ricardo
Soriana at No. 2. Banas prevailed 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7). Junior Jorge Delgado topped Andy Connelly 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5, and freshman
Murilo Martins defeated Albert Jou 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) at No.6.
Junior Arlen Domoney was bested by No. 38 Arnau Brugues 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1.
three sets at No 3. Olechowski was defeated 6-1, 4-6, 6-3. Sophomore Janusz Conradi was bested by Will Gray 6-4, 6-4
at No. 4.
The Cajuns were swept in doubles play. Delgado and Domoney were defeated by Connelly and Ross Cunningham 8-4 at No. 1, while teammates Conradi and Olechowski fell to Brugues and Soriano 8-3 at No. 2. At the No. 3 position, Banas and senior Ryan Hess were defeated by Kolik and Alberto Sottocorno 8-3.
The Cajuns will be back in action on Monday, Feb. 25 when they face
