Cajuns to Host Fan Day Saturday

LAFAYETTE - The nationally-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team will hold its annual Fan Day Saturday, Feb. 16 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field. Gates will open at 11 a.m. for the free event.
The first 600 fans that enter the front gates of "The Tigue" will receive free autograph books, as well as complimentary hot dogs and Pepsi products.
Fans will get their first up-close look at this season's Ragin' Cajuns team during an autograph and picture session that will last until 12:30 p.m. In addition to the current Ragin' Cajuns, former Cajuns and current professional players will also be on hand to sign autographs and take photos.
At 1 p.m., the Cajuns will hold their Home Run Hitting Contest, followed by the Cajuns vs. Pros game at 2 p.m.
Louisiana will open the 2008 regular season when it travels to San Antonio, Texas, to participate in the UTSA Baseball Classic. The Cajuns will face the United States Military Academy on Friday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.
