Baseball Game with McNeese Postponed
The Ragin' Cajuns will return to action on Friday, Feb. 24,
when they host Purdue.
LAFAYETTE-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball game with McNeese State has been canceled for Tuesday night. The game will be made up on Wednesday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.
Rain started to fall with about 45-minutes before the scheduled game time. The Cajuns pulled the tarp onto the field, but the threat of continued rain and fog in the area prompted the cancellation.
The game is scheduled to be played next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Tigue.
The Cajuns will return to action on Friday, Feb. 24 as they take on Purdue at 6:30 p.m. in the 2006 Mardi Gras Ball Baseball Classic. The tournament will start at 2 p.m. when Kansas State takes on Louisiana-Monroe at Moore Field.
The tournament will continue through the weekend with the Cajuns playing Kansas State on Saturday and concluding the tournament with ULM on Sunday.
