CAJUNS ADD 2nd CHANCE NIGHTS

LAFAYETTE – The University of Louisiana at Lafayette announced on Thursday a new season ticket redemption policy for both Men's Basketball and Baseball. The Cajuns will hold “2nd Chance Nights” at periodic intervals during the season. On “2nd Chance Night”, season ticket holders can bring any unused season tickets to the respective box office (Basketball – Cajundome, Baseball – Cajuns Ticket Office on Reinhardt Drive), to trade their old ticket for a new ticket to the designated game.

Tickets cannot only be redeemed on the date of the game, but as early as two weeks prior to “2nd Chance Night”. Tickets will be issued on a first come-first serve basis and are subject to sellout. All redeemed tickets will be issued as close to their original seat as possible. Tickets will be of equal or lesser value. Upgrades are not available. Only current season (01-02) basketball tickets are only redeemable on Basketball “2nd Chance Night”. Only current season ('02) baseball tickets are only redeemable on Baseball “2nd Chance Nights”.

“I'm hoping that season ticket holders will never have any unused tickets,” said Cajuns Athletic Director Nelson Schexnayder. “Now season ticket holders will have the opportunity to bring extra friends, family or co-workers to enjoy a basketball or baseball game.”

The Cajuns are working on adding a “2nd Chance Night” to the upcoming 2002 Football season.
